(Travel) Where to go & What to eat in Koh Samui Part 1.

by - Sunday, March 20, 2016

I was welcomed by the great blue sea on the second morning of the trip.

Love it but unfortunately, the weather wasn't pleasing us at all!
Halfway to Koh Wau Ta Lap, downpour happened.

The very first itinerary supposed to be arriving at "Koh Wau Ta Lap" and climb up to a top viewpoint, along with 500 meters walk to see a panaromic view of the surrounding 42 islands in the National Marine Park.

Continue with "Lotus Cave" with a beautiful stalagmite and stalactite formations while we can enjoy swimming & snorkeling.

GUESS WHAT?!? We couldn't do all these on that day! =(
It was supposed to be sunny day but even locals couldn't predict the weather this year.

What happened to our mother Earth?

 Well, life goes on.

Will try to seek for happiness even in the most negative situation.

Continued our trip after our buffet lunch with "Koh Mae Koh" which we get to enjoy kayaking from one island to another island.

 Beautiful scenery welcomed us.

Imagine climbing up the stairs like these in just a pair of slippers.

I was worried about my slippers falling between the gaps more than myself.
 Why did we climb?

There is this beautiful, breathtaking Blue Lagoon which is a must to visit.
Its name is "Talay Nai" with beautiful emerald-green water.

I like how peaceful and quiet it is.
I could just lay down here to watch over it all day all time.

 Serene it is.

Love.

After all the hard work, we get to enjoy the cooling sea water like finally!

Aloha, sunlight!

We had to kayak to another island as our boat ride is waiting for us the other end.

Don't you love sand writing as well?

TIPS
There will be someone selling tour packages when you are in bus, get the tour packages from them, King Ferry Company because it is way cheaper as compared to others.

Price: 1,300 Baht (Kayaking, Snorkeling, Sightseeing tour)

WHAT TO EAT?

 Crystal Restaurant.

Highly-rated on Foursquare.
Address? Just right beside Chaweng Walking Street!

In Chaweng, you don't really need addresses as the area isn't that huge.
I was using Google Maps the whole time when I was in Koh Samui.

Thai Coconut is a must in Thailand.

Love how yummy and fragrant it is!

Pineapple Fried Rice.

Just so so to me. I prefer it with Cashew Nuts and more pineapple cubes.

Stir-fried Prawns with Kailan.

Not good at all. Don't order this.

Mussels with herbs in stone pot

THIS IS YUMMY!
The herbs! The spices!

Stir-fried Morning Glory

Normal to me.

Grilled Squid

YUMMMMYYYYYYY.
Tender and juicy!

Spicy Thai style Tuna Salad.

Similar to Somtam but this is yummier with Tuna!!!
